John Christopher Pistone was born in Galveston, Texas the first born child of John S. and Blanche Pistone. He is a graduate of O’Connell High School in Galveston and a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.  He received his commission in the United States Army Reserve with the designation of Distinguished Military Graduate.

He started his retail management career with Furrow Building materials and then four years later began a career in contract sales with Office Depot which would span 29 years culminating in his position with the Business Services Division as Public Sector Account Manager.

John retired from the United States Army Reserves at the rank of Colonel after 30 years of commissioned service (ten of those years on Active Duty).  COL Pistone served in staff and command positions in times of war and peace. His many awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star Medal. He is a member of the Transportation Corps Regimental Association and was inducted into the Ancient Order of Saint Christopher.

John is very active in his church and served on the Parish Council of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land.  He is loyal and faithful member of the Knights of Columbus and is a Fourth Degree Sir Knight in the Bishop John L. Morkovsky Assembly. John is a member and Past Grand Knight of St. Basil Council in Sugar Land.  He was also a former District Deputy of the Texas State Council of the Knights of Columbus.  John is an active volunteer with Catholic Charities of Fort Bend at the Maime George Community Center in Richmond, TX and member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (St. Theresa Conference).

His hobbies include both domestic and international travel.  John also enjoys hunting and fishing with friends.   John has been married to his wife of 40 years, the former Robin Godinich and is the proud father of three adult children and grandfather to seven grandchildren.
